Really.
To anyone who's faved and commented in the uh... year plus absence, thanks a bunch. I had something like 900 new pieces of art and 200 new messages and that was a little... overwhelming, to say the least. Needless to say I didn't look. Sorry guys :<.

A lot has changed. I've gotten some new piercings, changed up my hair a bit and back again, gotten better at what I do, and picked up sewing again.

I will totally be better at this. I swear.

So school's started again and I'm already thinking about next year. Next year I'm returning back to photography. I would do it this year, but switching a schedule at this point is like kind of pointless/frustrating. I'm finishing up dance this year. I really miss photography... a lot. My photo teacher (Ms. Bockelman) passed away the DAY after I found I got six of my photos into a local gallery. She taught me so much about photography. She also taught me to accept nothing less than perfection through her criticism. If you pestered her and whined enough, she would sigh and say "Well... I GUESS you could turn it in..." and you yourself would sigh with relief, but then she'd quickly add "But you probably wouldn't get a good grade."

Um.. yeah. I disappeared for a couple months. I was in Eastern Europe for most of July (pics to come omg) and my laptop also bit the dust. I backed everything up not even a day before it finally went to the big Apple store in the sky. So, whew, lucky me. I sold a total of three pictures in the time I was at the gallery.

I rock.

To come - drawings. I started drawing again. I have one sketch I really like that I did while in the Czech Republic.

K, back from the dead.

Somehow, I got the idea in my crazy little head that I'm going to sew a formal dress for myself. It'll be either next winter formal or next prom. Why? Because I can. And because I'm a li'l cyberpunk hobag. I'm wearing the circuitry of my old busted ass jump drive around my neck now.

So, turns out I won a spot in an actual gallery (Sam the Butcher) through my school.

I have the opportunity to sell photos because Eastern Europe and shoes (so much <3) are eating my money. Life is pretty good. Expect to see some new old stuff... eventually.
